We signed Hailey up for a little gym type of thing by our house.. Yes, I know she is still really young but she loved it.. She had so much fun hanging on bars, jumping, walking on the beam.. She was in heaven.

We went to Moab this past weekend for the Moab Race. We have done it the past six years or so and have loved doing it.> This is the first year we havent ran though (tear)... Josh had knee surgey a few months back and I'm expecting... Wahoo.. Almost 13 weeks along due Oct 5th.. Sorry to those I havent told yet, we were waiting to make sure all is well.. Despite all that We still had a wondeful time with the Olsens going on hikes and relaxing. Maybe next year.. More pictures to come..

My mom, sister and I were able to go visit my other sister in New York this past week. I have always wanted to go there at Christmas time and it was so perfect and it exceeded my expectations. As many of you may know my sister Lindsay is running in the New York Marathon this Sunday. She is running to raise money for her school and to give the kids who live in poverty a better chance at life and a better education. She has to raise $2500.00 for the race and is only $300.00 short of reaching that goal. Josh had a business conference this past weekend in Southern California and last minute his work said they would send me out with him if I wanted to go. I love the Fourth of July. It has to be one of my favorite holidays. We went camping/4 wheeling this year on Friday night with my dad and Julia. It was so fun, but my family saw a little of my uptight side ( hey you would be scared too if it was lighting in your tent and there was 5 foot long snake skin in our campground). Saturday we had a BBQ/Pool Party with the Davis's and watched the Thanksgiving Point Fireworks. It was such a busy but fun weekend.

The Best Trip Ever

Josh and I took a trip over the weekend to the Big Apple to visit my sister Lindsay and her husband Rob. We had such an incredible time. I only wish that we were able to see them more. They are two amazing people and we are so grateful for them and for taking the time to show us all over the city. We got to do a lot while we were there: central park, museums, shopping, Kayaking on the River, Shakespeare in the park, winning front row tickets to a broadway play, yummy restaurants, walking the Brooklyn Bridge, etc. Thanks again, are are we counting down the days until we can see you again.

Two weekends ago ( I know a little late posting) Josh, Hailey and I went to St. George with some of our very good friends. We had a blast. The weather was in the 90s. We swam, rode the golf carts and we went to Tuachon to see Brian Reagan ( He was hilarious). We stayed at Scotts sisters house who lives in a beautiful development right on the golf course. It was so fun. It is nice to have St. George so close so you can get in those weekend get aways.

My family and I took a trip down to La Mission, Mexico ( an hour past the border) this past week and worked at an orphange with a Childs Hope Founation. It was an incredible experience and definatley eye opening. It was unlike any other other family trip we had ever been on. We were able to spend most of our time building and laying cinder block to expand the orphanage for more orphans. It It was alot of hard work but It made me appreicate what we have and makes me realize how blessed we are.

Hailey is officially crawling. She started about a week ago and just keeps getting better, faster, and into more things. Josh and I have just entered into a whole new phase of parenthood. She is now mobile and requires being watched all the time. Our days of her playing with toys in one spot are over. But it is still fun to see her master her new skill.

Moab Canyonlands Half Marathon.

My family and I have been going to this race down in Moab since 2002. It is one of my favorite traditions to come down here and run. As much as I would like to say I ran the half marathon, we all ran the 5 mile race. It is the most beautiful run down the canyon and it was nice to be in a much needed 80 degree weather. Unfortunately this year not everyone in my family came just my Dad Josh and I but we still had a great tiime. Thanks again Dad for everything and Mom for watching Hailey.

Hailey's favorite time of the day. She loves her bath time.I cant believe my baby is almost 8 months.She is growing and learning like crazy. Her favorite tricks right now are clapping to patty cake, starting to crawl ( little distances and a time), and when we say where's your nose she will grab it. It is so fun seeing her learn new things. Each day is an adventure.

She has got the getting up on all fours down she just doesnt know how to move once she is up that way. The day before Valentines some of my friends and their husbands all got together and had dinner and made Valentines cookies. it was a lot of fun. Out of the five girls there, four were pregnant so we though it would be fun to take a picture of them at their different stages. The next picture is of the husbands making fun of the girls and them being pregnant. If only they knew. On Valentines day Josh and I made breakfast for each other and went and saw confessions of a shopaholic and went to lunch with my family. I enjoyed the movie but Josh was trying to entertain a fussy Hailey. WE have definately learned that we can no longer take her to the movies with us until she is a little older. Every time we take her we keep thinking that she will sleep through it. Yeah right. That never happens..

My friends from high school and I are trying to get together once a month to have play dates. It is so fun having all our babies so close in age. NO we did not plan it, it just happened, but I am glad. This last time was a lot of fun because all the babies just stared at each other and were so curious of the other babies. It will only get more fun as they get older.

6 Months

I can't believe our sweet Hailey Jane turned six months old yesterday. Time has gone by so fast and she is growing every day. She has been such a blessing in our lives and she brings such a sweet spirit in our home. I am so grateful and lucky to be her mom.

My favorite things about her-

I love her hair and the way it is always sticking straight up.
I love how she gets the biggest smile on her face when I come in to her room after a nap
I love how everything she touches goes straight into her mouth.
I love how her bottle is the most important thing on this earth.
I love how she is starting to babble and say dadadadada all day long.
I love how you lay her on the floor and the next minute she is across the room and you have no idea how.
I love how when you lay with her she grabs every ounce of your face and it hurts but its funny so you let her do it
I love watching her face light up when we turn on sesame street.
I love her will to learn and her determination
I love how she loves her daddy so much and they would play all day if they could

After picking Rob and Lindsay up from the airport we went and saw the lights at temple square. It was freezing but being there always gets you in the Christmas spirit. It was nice for Lindsay and Rob to see Hailey again since they had not seen her since Hailey was four days old. She has definitely grown alot since then.
